Cold Pasta Salad

Make one packet of buttermilk ranch and set in fridge.

Cook 2 bags of tri-colored twisty noodles according to directions.
While those are boiling-
In a bowl add :
-two small cans of black olives
-half a bag of frozen peas
(leave them frozen)
 dice some:
-red,yellow, and/or orange peppers
-carrots
-celery
And optional-turkey or ham cubed
When noodles are ready drain and pour them on top,
this will "cook" the peas enough.
Then toss in the ranch.

Make sure you have a helper with small hands to taste.
Honestly we like more veggies and usually we don't even add the meat.
Keep in fridge.
Taste really yummy on hot days or on a day,
like today where the HIGH was 73 ;-)

An Easy Mason Jar Craft

I found this group of dollies at an antique store for $2.
I saw some jars that had dollies glued to them at a store, over priced I'm sure.
But I new that these sweet cheapy's would be perfect for the project.
I tend to wash and save random jars. So I chose a
pickle jar, spaghetti sauce jar, wide mouth jar, and two others.
Plus my helper.

I decorated the tops with stuff from my stash:)
I put them in the girls room for now.I think i wanna add
some of those battery candles in them.

A Cut, A Feather, and Some Paint

My hair salon emailed me a special recently.
A wash,cut,dry,feather, and nails painted for $20.
That is a great deal so the big girls got pampered.
Kaveri got 5 inches cut off and a purple feather.

Kylie got three inches cut off and a red feather.

Kirstin got about 6-7 inches cut off and a turquoise feather.

Kaveri and Kirstin got their nails painted
to match their feathers.
But Kylie has to be different so she got
one hand painted pink and the other painted blue.
It was a fun girly day:)

The Babe is 2

MiKayla turned two on the third.
She is growing so fast.
I love watching her try things and
say new words.
She is really keeping up with her sisters.

She is so polite.
Shes says please and thank you all the time.
If one of her sisters hurts her and she is crying and they
apologize, she will say thank you through her tears.

We did pink and green vanilla cupcakes with buttercream frosting.
I left some unfrosted b/c MiKayla likes to eat them that way to.

She could not blow them out for anything.
She just kept blowing her bangs up.
Even right in front of her, she couldn't do it.
I helped her a little:)

She melts our hearts.

A Camp Out-in the Yard

Last summer Derek, me, my mom, and
my brother started a 12 x 12 gazebo.
So far this summer Derek and Papa Jeff
finished the roof.
Then we took the kids to the creek and collected
lots of flat rocks.
Derek has started a rock floor.
It is looking so nice and is completely functional.

So the past few weekends we have had
mini camp out slumber parties.

Apparently the model pose is the preferred one:)

We ate dinner out there. Roasted marshmallows.
And Derek even brought out a small t.v. so we
could have like a Drive- In   lay down movie night.
Family fun I tell ya :)

We just celebrated MiKayla's bday yesterday so pics to come:)
