Exodus 12:21-2821 Then Moses called all the elders of Israel and said to them, “Go and select lambs for yourselves according to your clans, and kill the Passover lamb. 22 Take a bunch of hyssop and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and touch the lintel and the two doorposts with the blood that is in the basin. None of you shall go out of the door of his house until the morning. 23 For the Lord will pass through to strike the Egyptians, and when he sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the Lord will pass over the door and will not allow the destroyer to enter your houses to strike you. 24 You shall observe this rite as a statute for you and for your sons forever. 25 And when you come to the land that the Lord will give you, as he has promised, you shall keep this service. 26 And when your children say to you, ‘What do you mean by this service?’ 27 you shall say, ‘It is the sacrifice of the Lord's Passover, for he passed over the houses of the people of Israel in Egypt, when he struck the Egyptians but spared our houses.’” And the people bowed their heads and worshiped.
28 Then the people of Israel went and did so; as the Lord had commanded Moses and Aaron, so they did.
“You know that after two days the Passover is coming, and the Son of Man will be delivered up to be crucified.”

26 Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and after blessing it broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is my body.”27 And he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he gave it to them, saying, “Drink of it, all of you,28 for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
John 1:29 29 The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!
We have been going over lots of scripture this week with the family. I encourage you to do the same.
Here is a great website with all the passover/"easter" scriptures: http://www.openbible.info/topics/passover
We need a new mattress. we have for a long time. For over a year me and Derek have been waking up with some sore backs.
So awhile back i bought a 3 inch foam mattress from Sam's. It was nice for a while but the aches came back. Literally in the back;-)
Yes we need a new mattress again. No we can't afford it.
So i researched online for a few days/hours looking for another temporary fix.
I found another foam mattress but this time it was a 4 inch. It had a 4.5 out of 5 stars with 1,832 reviews. Thats alot of reviews. So with my coupon code and extra free shipping..... I got a $300 foam mattress for $77 bucks.
It came in the mail. We set it out to let it fully rise for 72 hours, then we slept. It feels like a cloud!
Plus we have white sheets and a white down comforter, so it looks like a cloud too! (i know-brave for parents of 4) We have been sleeping good for over a week. That's 7 inches of foam people!
Now, as you can see from my movie review, We are big movie renters. For the past few weeks/maybe months, we have noticed that every single movie has some form of blasphemy. Whether it be "oh my G*d" or "holy sh*t" or "Jesus Christ" or the worst "G D" i won't even type that one!
I was raised a christian girl in the south. That of course was a huge No No. It is like nails on a chalk board to my ears. I can't stand it!!!
I have even noticed OMG in all the kid movies. They seem to want to push that envelope more and more. This saddens me:(
I want to know if there is any actor out there who will refuse to say these phrases.
I would be proud!!!!
Note to parents: Please teach your children that these phrases are TACKY! There is simply no need for them. There are so many other words that they can have coming out of their mouths.
Here is some scripture to back it up: Matthew 12:30-32 Leviticus 24:14-16
Let us not curse God but instead give him Praise!!
Have you ever looked over at a sweet baby, standing over there all by themselves looking so cute.
Then you noticed a face. You know that face.
This is what you want to do.
Sometimes i try to "have" something i have to do right away so that Derek will have to change it. Or sometimes we debate over who change the last one. Luckily he will change that poo bomb......sometimes.
If not i image i have one of these. And i try to go as fast as possible.
Well the family was sick awhile back. It seemed to travel through the family slow, a horrid virus that lasted foreeeeevvvvvveeeeerrrrrr. at least a week. Poor MiKayla had way over 100 fever for six days.
So needless to say i was to distracted to blog. Then i just didn't blog for a while after that.
However, this is a new month. A healthy month:)
And today MiMi (aka MiKayla) is 10 months old today!!!
She is growing so fast. She pulls up and stands on anything. Even the dogs.
She is a super fast crawler, with all these sisters to keep up with.
We will also be celebrating Kylie's 3rd birthday this month.
She has decided Yo Gabba Gabba will be her theme.
Although i love her strong will and her need to be a leader of everyone......
I am praying that on her third birthday all of her terrible two's will fly out the door!
To much to ask????
We will also be celebrating Derek's 33rd brithday.
Yes, thats right, i have myself a thirty-three year old folks.
And boy is he a cutie!
And let us all remember Passover and Easter.
So thats some of the things we will be doing April........
