Finishing Up Birthday Season

It's pretty much torture for poor MiKayla to
watch  5 birthdays from March 30th  till
May 28th.
Her June 3rd birthday puts her
at the very end of what we call
'the birthday season.'

She had her birthday dinner outfit picked out for weeks!
She loves sushi๐Ÿฃ

This year was all things ๐Ÿ‡๐ŸŽfruit๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ
and llamas.๐Ÿฆ™

This is what 5 different camera flashes looks like๐Ÿ˜„

Sweet MiKayla Kristine I can't believe you
are one year away from double digits!
Officially heading to 3rd grade
in the 'big kid' school and
crazy excited to do so!
"Kylie,can you believe I'm going
to be at your school" said
roughly 100 times in the last month.

Some things never change.
*you still make straight A's๐Ÿ“‡
*you still wear socks 24/7๐Ÿงฆ
*your a fashionista ๐Ÿ‘—
(you take the most time picking an outfit,
you try multiples on, and you always wear cute combos)
*you have the most shoes in the house
and just received another pair in the mail๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ‘Ÿ

I love the way you play with Gabriella and Daniel.
All the crazy games you come up with.
You have really helped open their imagination play
over the years and it's really sweet.

It's so fun to watch you grow.
You balance wanting to follow in your
sisters foot steps and being your own girl.
Both make me very proud.
Your in a special place in the family.
The middle means being the youngest
of the big girls and the oldest of the babies.
Neither of them are babies but we all refer
to them as such, probably for the rest of their lives๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿฅฐ
Your the little big sister and I'm so glad
that's where you are in the line up!

Happy Birthday baby girl๐ŸŽ‚

We love you so much๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’–

Sporty Spice?

Sport baby. That's what Kylie has been calling herself lately.

This year when the 'Girls on the Run' flyer came
home from school Kylie decided to give  it a try.
Kirstin participated in it for a few years when
she was younger so Kylie was familiar with it.
Basically your on a girls team from school and
they train from February to the end of May for
a marathon that all the Pittsburgh schools can participate in.

This was the practice run.
3.5 miles on a very hill-y course to get the
full experience. Kylie was the first girl to complete
the practice race and she kept pace with one
of the male teachers who is an experience marathon runner.
He was so shocked she was able to keep pace and they actually
did an extra lap plus finished more than 10 minutes
before any other girls!!!
All the other moms kept making comments
about her being lightning fast and I was beaming
with pride.
I had no idea she was so fast!

She was the first girl from our school
to cross the finish line๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿ…
She really enjoyed doing
girls on the run,
but after playing softball
she decided she would rather focus
her time and attention on softball.

She was happy with the experience and
hey she got a metal!

Kirstin's Turn!

                                                                          17!๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿ˜ญ
There she goes again making me older!
I tell her that every year on her birthday ๐Ÿ˜„

Everyone was snapping pics of Kirstin on their devices
and Daniel was not about to miss out๐Ÿคฃ

I sent some blank shirts to Aunt Wenny and she put
on all the cute sayings.
Thanks Wenny!

So this year after watching Gabriella open a bunch
of cute toys on her bday Kirstin
had requested similar presents.
I was definitely willing to oblige so
our 4 year old and our 17 year ended up having
several of the same gifts.
She loved them and everyone
got a kick out of it.

We had cheese cake at gramma's house.

Hibachi/sushi date with mom and dad
was her choice.

She got to bang the Happy Birthday gong.

Kirstin Renee HOW ARE YOU 17?
Officially a senior..... A SENIOR!
It's just plain crazy!

This year has been crazy.
You had your first job and
worked 30 hrs a week.
You saved every single paycheck and
used your tip money for spending.
Of course you continued to
work hard in your AP classes.
You have been getting weekly
college letters and booklets for months.
And you've had surgery on your back.
(more on that in another post)
It has been filled with ups and downs.
You survived your junior year and your looking forward
to your senior year.
I however am still in shock.

You love to bake and you
and your sisters are always
staying up late to make
scratch cookies, brownies, and
cakes.

You love slime.
Yea that's right, I'm outing you๐Ÿ˜œ
You have your bin that holds
all your slimes and you play with them
every day!
Some nights I'm laying in bed
and I hear these loud cracking noises.
I come down stairs and there you are
popping a bunch of slime bubbles๐Ÿคฃ

So excited to see what next year holds for you!
We love you lots Renee!
